Description

As Shanghai’s Assistant City Manager, no two days will ever be the same. Your day-to-day duties will consist of: • Leading tours in the evenings and weekday mornings (~7-8 tours per week) • Assisting the City Manager with tour logistics, including last- minute changes, communication with vendors and guides • Representing the brand at networking, industry and sales events • Ongoing projects, that could include activities such as hiring, tour route design, seasonal tour creation, charitable activities, marketing initiatives and more.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively manage people in both English and Mandarin • Excellent attention to detail, communication and organizational skills • Ability to learn quickly on the job • Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. • Highly organized & professional demeanor • Positive attitude • Love for China and Chinese food in particular • Extensive China experience and knowledge • 18+ months residency in Shanghai • Additional European language skills a plus
