As a hands-on practitioner, I actively manage every aspect from planning, writing, editing and proofreading to overseeing design, publishing outputs, and driving marketing as well as business development initiatives. Notable accomplishments encompass a diverse range of projects such as periodicals (eg. newsletters, blogs, reports) and books, marcomm collateral (eg. corporate profiles, brochures, press releases).

As a co-founder of a self-funded and homegrown property magazine called "homefinder," my role extended beyond the daily oversight of staff and business operations. I spearheaded content planning and direction, meticulously managed magazine production (eg. editing, writing, proofreading, design), actively participated in trade events (eg. seminars, conferences, exhibitions), and led the annual brainstormings to formulate plans for the succeeding year.

In my role at BlueTAG, a distributor of People Friendly Products (eg. ergonomic furniture, natural skincare, haircare, organic rice), I was tasked with developing comprehensive sales & marketing strategies including pricing. I actively engaged with brand principals, communicated with potential markets and attended trade fairs to identify & introduce new products. Notably, in Q3 2005, I successfully facilitated the export of Sanctum, an Australian natural skincare brand, to Sasa Cosmetics in Singapore—marking BlueTAG's inaugural venture outside Australia.

At way2work, I spearheaded the introduction of the Application Software Provider (ASP) model in the recruitment industry, allowing companies to seamlessly operate their recruitment web pages from our engine. My role involved meticulously documenting specifications based on the extensive recruitment expertise of our Managing Director. These specifications were written in the Rational Rose Use Cases format, optimising Object-Oriented Programming. In an earlier capacity, I served as the Project Manager responsible for orchestrating the development timelines and efficiently allocating resources for the company's inaugural business model — an innovative talent acquisition website, commonly known as a job board.

I played a key role in the creation of Malaysia's inaugural web portal for the shipping industry. Tasked with crafting detailed specifications for the portal, I collaborated closely with the database management team and engaged with potential clients to facilitate the development of their web and multimedia projects.

Assisting the legal head by collating the necessary customer files in preparation for the next stage of the collection and/or legal process. This often involved organising the files into its respective categories to facilitate a smooth execution of the instructions ie. to recover debt from delinquent credit card customers.

A full 3 years course completed in Melbourne, Australia, courtesy of a personal scholarship from my ex-employer. I took more Finance subjects as I wanted to major in Finance.

It's a 2 years course where I attained a Higher Diploma at the premier IT school in Malaysia. Syllabus has a wide array of IT management, technical and business subjects.
