I led product development projects for electronic assemblies used in medical devices. The main project was an implantable blood pressure sensor. In permanent consultation with the customer I was responsible for the organization as well as all development and quality related tasks. I also was in charge of the transfer-molding process which is an important step in the packaging of semi-conductor dies. Furthermore I restructured and unified the x-ray inspection within the lot acceptance tests. I furthermore developed the final inspection of medical electronic assemblies. This included hardware and software development. In cooperation with our customer I introduced a new cross companies test software platform.
My field of research was molecular dynamics in liquids and polymers by means of fast field cycling nuclear magnetic resonance. One achievement was to demonstrate that the translational diffusion coefficient can be quantified with this technique. This and
