China M Visa

China M Visa is issued to those who intend to go to China for business and trade activities on behalf of American enterprises. For U.S. passport holders, the length of stay is usually no more than 60 days, and the period of validity for multiple entries is no more than 10 years; for non-U.S. passport holders, the length of stay is usually no more than 60 days, but only one or two entries are allowed, and the period of validity is 3 or 6 months. A 10-year visa is not guaranteed. The Chinese consulate may issue a visa for you with restricted entry, shortened duration, and valid period as appropriate.

How To Apply for China M Visa

Please follow the instructions below to prepare your application.

1 actual passport, plus a copy of the name page.

Please submit your real passport. The visa will be issued in the passport.

Passports must be valid for at least 12 months. Otherwise, you must update your passport first. If you need a passport service, please visit our expedited passport service section.

Passport should have at least 2 blank visa pages. The last three pages of a U.S. passport are not visa pages. These are revision pages, retained by the U.S. Department of State for passport revision. They will not be accepted for visas. If there is no blank visa page in your passport, you can add another visa page. If you need a passport service, please visit our expedited passport service section.

If you have a valid Chinese visa in another passport, you need to submit it with the new passport when you apply for a new visa.

Non-U.S. passport holders must provide a copy of the U.S. green card (exception: if you live in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Edwards, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin, you need to provide a copy of the public card. If you live in Arizona, Southern California, Hawaii, New Mexico, Pacific Islands, you need a U.S. green card of origin) or a valid U.S. long-term residence visa, such as l, h, F, TN. 50. H, F, TN. please note that B1 / B2 visa does not count.

Some non-U.S. passport holders (holding passports from the countries listed in the annex) need to apply in person.

Please fill in the application form on the computer, print a copy and sign it.

Handwritten forms will not be accepted.

All fields are required. If a section is not applicable, please enter "None" or "N/A". Incomplete forms will be rejected.

Please check for omissions or errors before printing the form. No changes or corrections are allowed on the printed form. If any changes or corrections are made, a new copy of the form must be printed.

Please print and submit only single-sided applications, not back-to-back.

Please do not use a stapler. A paperclip is fine.

One recent passport type photo

Full face, front, plain white or grey background, size 33mm (w) x 48mm (h).

2x2" photos are also acceptable and we can help trim them to the right size.

Plain paper prints or poorer quality photos will not be accepted.

Photos must be taken within 6 months of the date.

Please use a paper clip to attach the photo face down (to avoid scratches) to the form. Please do not use staples or glue to affix photos.

China Invitation Letter

One of the following invitation letters is required.

China Invitation Letter An invitation letter issued by a duly authorized entity of the Chinese government.

China Invitation Letter An official invitation letter issued by a company or organization in mainland China.
