Hundreds of colleges and universities are actively recruiting students right now. Given the difficulty in entering China at the present time, foreigners who are currently in China or who have a sufficient amount of work experience are highly sought after.

    Teaching positions in China need certain qualifications.

    Teaching positions in China are available to anyone who meet the qualifications. It is dependent on the nation from where you are coming and the subject matter you want to teach.

    If you wish to work as an English teacher in China...

    You must be a native English speaker from one of the following countries: the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa*.

    Possess a 120-hour certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate \sException: Your university degree is in education or teaching English. You must have a Bachelor's degree in order to be considered for this position.

    It is necessary to have a clean criminal background check.

    Men must be between the ages of 18 and 60, while women must be between the ages of 55 and 60. (women)

    If you do not have a TEFL certification or a degree, you must have two years of job experience.

    Obtaining a Work Permit During Covid

    Teachers in China are required to have a Z visa (the work visa).

A PU Letter (invitation letter) from the firm that employs you is now the sole option to get entry into China as a worker. The PU Letter is the sole means to get a Z Visa, and it is required. Before you accept a position with a firm, ensure that you inquire as to whether the employer is able to issue you with a PU Letter.

    In addition, certain institutions may need you to acquire the Sinovac vaccination before you can apply for a visa to study there.

    At the present, it is quite difficult to get a visa to work in China, thus you will most likely only be recruited from overseas and awarded a visa if you are an exceptionally competent applicant.
