How Long To Get Chinese Visa

Unless you comply with the visa-free policy stipulated by the Chinese government, all visitors entering China will need a valid visa to enter. To obtain one, foreign tourists must submit a Chinese visa application form. The question is how long to get a Chinese visa?

The type of application you use depends on the purpose of your visit and whether it's a travel or business trip. This article will discuss the general schedule and procedures for applying for a Chinese visa.

Generally speaking, it takes two to four working days. However, this can only happen if you have at least six months and two blank pages on your passport. In certain circumstances, obtaining a visa may take longer, including:

1.Additional interview or other documents required by a consular officer of the Chinese Embassy

2. Applications via email (for Australian citizens) can take up to 10 working days

3. If you use the “mail-back” service through the CVASC, more days are required

Speeding up the visa application

To speed up processing, applicants can use the expedited service to speed up visa applications. In case of an emergency, you must receive it within 24 hours. Using the express visa service will be your only choice. The expedited visa service is only available in some countries and can only be provided by the Chinese consulate.

Our emergency handling time is as follows:
