Tourist Visa For China

Travel in China requires a Tourist Visa For China, usually a single entry visa, with a stay time of 30 days. U.S. citizens may be eligible for multiple-entry visas for 10 years. A tourist visa requires that your passport be valid for at least six months and must have at least two blank pages. You must also have an invitation letter from a Chinese travel agency or a personal or round-trip ticket and hotel reservation.

To apply for a Tourist Visa For China, please prepare the following documents:

Your passport

You must send your actual passport, which must be valid for at least 8 months and have at least two blank visa pages.

Copy of Passport

In addition to the original passport, a clear copy of the passport information page must be provided.

Tourist Visa For China Application Form

A Chinese visa application must be completed, signed, and dated. One form per applicant. If you do not have an answer to the question, or if it does not apply to you, do not leave any fields blank, enter "n / a". Print the form to a single-sided page. Remember to sign your application on page 4 with a blue or black pen.

Photo

Note to the applicant: the Chinese embassy has strict requirements for passport photos. If these requirements are not met, your application will not be accepted.

A passport-type photo with a full white background taken by a professional passport photo service. You can print out the request and bring it to the photographer for reference.

Residence certificate

All applicants must provide a copy of their driver's license or a national ID card. Minor applicants who do not have a driver's license can submit their parents' driver's license and a copy of their birth certificate. Images of the front and back of the ID must be provided.

Supporting documents

You must provide one of the following documents to obtain a tourist visa to visit China.

A copy of the round-trip booking (full name must be shown at the time of booking) and the hotel booking, either by a travel group invitation from a duly authorized travel department or by an individual. For personal letters, a copy of the Chinese ID card of the inviting person (both sides) is required. For non Chinese invitees, please provide copies of their passports (main information page) and Chinese resident permits.

The invitation sent by Chinese individuals shall include the following:

Personal information of Chinese tourist visa applicants: name, gender, date of birth, passport number, etc.

Information about the applicant's visit: the purpose of the visit, the date of arrival and departure, the place of visit, the relationship between the applicant and the invitee, and who will pay for the applicant's accommodation in China.

Information of the inviting party: name of the unit or individual, telephone number, address, and (if applicable) seal and signature of the legal representative.
