How many times can I enter China with a Tourist Visa?

Tourist Visa To China are divided into three categories: single entry, double entry, and multiple entries. This means that you can enter China many times during the validity period of your visa. When applying, the expected number of entries should be selected based on the planned visit. Please note that if the entry application has been used up or the visa has expired, the visa will be invalid.

Basic Requirements

Passport

Original passport valid for at least 6 months and at least one blank visa page. In addition, make a data page and photo page, the previous visa page.

If you have used the new passport, the valid Chinese tourist visa is still in the old passport. If your purpose of visit remains the same, you can use both passports to visit China at the same time.

China visa application form

Some applicants from 40 countries can fill in the electronic form on the office website of China visa application service center (cvasc). Others can fill in the application form online, or go to the visa office of Chinese Embassy and consulate to get the latest application form (2013 version). Your personal information and travel related details should be given completely and correctly. The visa officer will check carefully to determine whether to approve your entry.

Visa photo

Two recent (within the past six months) passport size, bareheaded color photos on the front. Photos need to be taken on a solid background of white or light color, no cap, full face on the front. A photo should be attached to the printed visa application form.

Legal residence certificate (applicable to foreigners)

Provide the original and copy of valid certificate or visa to prove your legal residence, residence, work and study in the country of residence (not in your home country).

Previous Chinese passport or visa (applicable to former Chinese citizens who later joined foreign nationality)

Supporting documents

Relevant travel documents showing the itinerary, including the reserved return and return air tickets and hotel reservation records, the proposed itinerary and other materials, or invitations issued by relevant units or individuals in China.

Invitation letter for Chinese tourist visa

The invitation is one of the optional supporting documents for China's tourist visa application. To some extent, if you are indeed invited to China by a friend, family member or authorized travel agency, an invitation letter will help explain your travel purpose. The following information shall be included in the letter:

a. Applicant information (passport number, nationality, full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)

b. Planned travel information (departure and arrival dates, places to visit, etc.)

c. Information of the inviting unit or individual (name of the host unit or the name of the inviting person, contact number, address, official seal of the unit, signature of the legal representative or the inviting person, etc.)

How can I apply for a Tourist Visa To China?

Once we know what documents are needed, we move to the most important submission process.

Step 1: check the passport status, copy the information page and used visa page;

Prepare other travel materials, such as air tickets, hotel booking records, travel itinerary, etc. If you have a valid invitation, please provide.

Step 2: fill in the visa application form, print it out, paste a photo on the paper application form, sign it and write the submission date;

Step 3: make an appointment online, and submit to China visa application service center (cvasc) if necessary. Please use the application ID to make an appointment in advance.

Step 4: bring all the prepared documents to the right organization, cvasc or Chinese Embassy / Consulate, and wait for your order to be submitted. Pay the visa fee and collect the bill of lading.
