Tips to know about apply for visa in China

Visa application:

To obtain a Chinese visa, you should apply to the Chinese Embassy, consulate or transit visa office.

Required documents:

1-application form,

2 - passport or other identification documents for international travel,

3-photographs in accordance with regulations,

4 - documents on the reasons for the application.

Visa extension:

You may apply for an extension of your visa if you hold a valid visa and wish to continue to complete business in China after the expiration of the stay period specified on your current visa or for any other appropriate reason, provided that you do not need to change the visa type. The visa can be extended many times, but the accumulated extension time of individual stay cannot exceed the stay time specified in the original visa.

Visa substitution:

Chinese foreign tourists who wish to change their purpose of stay or gain entry privileges with a valid visa, or who wish to arrive in China with a group visa with a new passport and now wish to travel independently, can apply for a replacement visa.

The maximum cumulative period of stay for an individual from the date of entry of the substitute visa is one year.

Visa change:

If your visa is lost, damaged or stolen, the following documents can be used to apply for a replacement visa. The replacement visa will be of the same type as the original visa and will have the same period of validity and length of stay.

For multiple entry visas, the number of entries used will be deducted from the replacement visa.

Files required for extension / replacement / replacement:

1 - original and copies of valid passports or other international travel documents and current Chinese visas,

2 - complete the visa application form for foreigners,

3-visa photo and photo qualification inspection receipt,

4 - a valid alien registration form,

Submit documentary evidence of the loss or theft of your passport, or instructions from the Chinese Embassy in your country with a new passport or other international travel document.

Present the damaged visa and provide a note from your embassy in China with a new passport or other international travel document.

What if the group visa is lost, stolen or damaged?

Submit the certificate issued by the local travel agency and a copy of the original visa of the group.

Do foreigners have to have a legal visa to work in China?
