Visa Requirements For Us Citizens To China

For US citizens, it can be a bit annoying to apply for a Chinese visa before traveling. Many see the visa application process as a daunting one.

When applying for a visa in China, American citizens have four options: Diplomatic visa, Courtesy visa, service visa, and ordinary visa (Tourism belongs to this category). However, those seeking an "L" travel visa should understand the application process, where they need to go (without accepting the application by email), and what they need to bring to ensure they get a valid visa before they leave.

Visa Requirements For Us Citizens To China

Shortly after booking your flight and arranging your stay (you will be asked to provide this information as part of your Chinese visa requirements), please note the written work. Some of these requirements are basic, such as having a passport with a validity period of at least six months and two blank pages, a passport-sized photo, a printed travel itinerary, and a complete Chinese visa application form. Others, however, are a little more complicated.

Although in most cases, tourists can accept your trip to China, business travelers need an invitation letter from individuals or organizations in China, including all their contact information and legal signatures. Upon arrival in China, please remember that your hotel usually only accepts passports as a form of international identity card. If you need to apply for any other visa during your stay in China, you must apply after check-in or obtain a second passport before leaving the United States.

Apply to Chinese Embassy and Consulate

Once you have all the documents and forms ready, you can apply for a Chinese visa. But where? Chinese consulates are located all over the United States and embassies are located in Washington, D.C.; travel visa professional companies have offices and transfer locations in all these cities to meet the needs of our customers. However, if you plan to apply for a visa during transit (for example, spend a few days in New York before flying to Beijing), just know that some consulates only accept visa applications from residents of their jurisdiction.

Unfortunately, a mailed application will not be accepted, and if you send your application to the wrong consulate, it will be delayed or even rejected, leading to costly travel delays or cancellations. The five Chinese consulates are located in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. So if you live in Miami, the nearest consulate is Houston This is not an ideal holiday, because you may be saving money for your trip to China.

Because you have to apply in person, and because of the distance or schedule, it's usually impossible for many travelers, so there's an option. Professional agencies like travel visa can authorize you to apply for a visa, saving you time, money and trouble. We have nine staff offices in the United States, which are accessible to major cities, and dozens of pick-up and drop off points in your area, providing free delivery services to our trained staff.

China visa requirements: fees and processing time

The cost of a Chinese tourist visa is $140, whether you need an entry visa or a multiple entry visa. If you think you are going to enter China more than once, you can choose a dual or multiple entry visa (there is a further choice between multiple entry visas that are valid for six or 12 months). Ask a travel visa professional about China visa requirements to see which one is best for you.

The standard turnaround time for visas is four days. However, there are also options to speed up applications. For another $20, you'll get a courier service, so your visa will be available in two or three days. If you're really in a hurry, you can pay $30 more for a day's turnaround. When planning your trip, be sure to give yourself enough time to consider the visa processing time and the transportation cost to and from the travel visa professional.
