Usually, American citizens need a Chinese visa to enter China and travel and work in China before departure. First, make sure which visa you should apply for. Apply Visa To China From USA

According to various visa policies, applicants who meet the relevant requirements can apply for a Chinese visa at the Chinese Embassy, diplomatic and consular embassy or special entry port. You need to prepare and submit a valid passport with a validity period of at least 6 months, blank pages, copies of the front page of the passport, fill in the complete visa application form and paste 2 recent photos (color photos, white background, taken in the past 6 months, size: 48mmx33mm), sufficient visa fees and service fees as well as other supporting documents.

China tourist visa

Travel related documents showing the itinerary, including the reservation of round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation records and other materials, or invitations issued by relevant units or individuals in China.

The invitation shall include the following:

One. Applicant information (passport number, nationality, full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)

b。 Planned travel information (departure and arrival dates, places to visit, etc.)

c。 Information of the inviting unit or individual (name of the host company or the name of the inviting person, contact number, address, official seal of the unit, signature of the legal representative or the inviting person, etc.).

China business visa

Documents of business activities, invitation letters of trade exhibitions and other trade conferences and exhibitions issued by Chinese trade partners.

The invitation shall contain the following information:

Applicant information (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)

Information of planned visit (purpose of visit to China, date of departure and arrival, place to visit, relationship between invited units or personnel, source of financial expenses and other details)

Information of the inviting unit or individual (name of the main company of the inviting company, contact number, address, official seal of the unit, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual, etc.)

China work visa

Applicants intending to work in China shall provide one of the following supporting documents as well as basic materials.

① "Employment License of foreigners of the people's Republic of China" (working period shall not exceed 90 days) and "approval of short-term employment of foreigners in China" issued by the Ministry of human resources and social security of China.

② Work permit for foreigners to China or notice of foreigners to work in China issued by the State Administration of foreign experts.

③ Registration certificate of Permanent Representative Office of Chinese foreign / regional enterprises issued by the State Administration for Industry and commerce.

④ The approval document for commercial performances issued by the Chinese cultural administration and the "approval document for short-term employment of foreigners in China" issued by the Ministry of human resources and social security.

⑤ Invitation letter for foreigners to engage in offshore oil operations in China issued by CNOOC.

Note: the holder of Z work visa shall apply for resident certificate to the exit Entry Management Office of the Public Security Bureau (county level and above) within 30 days after arrival.

Collect and check your Chinese visa

Processing times vary depending on the visa type. Generally, applicants need about 4 to 5 working days to obtain a Chinese visa, and the exact date of receipt will be indicated on the transfer form. If you submit a China travel visa on Monday, you can pick up your car on Thursday. After you get your passport back, please check the visa type, stay time and entry times carefully. When you plan to enter China, please check its validity carefully, otherwise you will be refused entry.
