Visas For China

In recent years, there have been some significant changes in Visas For China system, and visa regulations may change suddenly without warning. There is also a degree of inconsistency between the consulate and the Public Security Bureau (PSB), where migrants must be registered upon arrival. Therefore, expatriates should be aware of any specific requirements at their local consulate or PSB.

It is suggested that foreigners should master their documents as completely as possible and go beyond this scope when the minimum requirements are specified. For example, it is a good idea to ensure that passports are valid for at least six months beyond what the Chinese authorities require, especially for longer stays.

It should be noted that migrants applying for a Chinese visa from outside their country of origin must submit other documents, such as a work or residence permit. Fees vary depending on the applicant's country of origin and visa location.

Visas For China

China tourist visa (L visa)

Tourist visas classified as l visas are issued for travel to China. A single entry visa is usually valid for 90 days, but can be applied for a longer period. Multiple entry visas are valid for 6, 12 or 24 months. The Chinese government requires proof of itinerary or invitation letter, as well as proof of funds, visa application fee and round-trip ticket.

China visit visa (F visa)

Under the revised visa system, visa F will be issued to applicants who intend to visit China for non-commercial purposes (such as meetings, cultural exchanges and study tours). A single entry F visa is usually valid for 30 days, and a multiple entry visa with a maximum of 24 months can also be applied for.

Chinese student visa (visa x)

There are two kinds of student visas in China. Visa X1 is for applicants who intend to study in China for more than 180 days, while visa X2 is for applicants who intend to study in China for less than 180 days.

China business visa (M visa)

Applicants who have obtained two or more m visas in two years and have investment certificates or business licenses in China can apply for multiple entry m visas with a validity period of 6 or 12 months. Foreigners in this category are required to submit copies of previous visas.

China work visa (Z visa)

Visa Z is issued to foreigners who have worked in China for more than six months. The original and copy of the letter of invitation for confirmation issued by the Chinese authorities, as well as the original and copy of the physical examination record of foreigners.
