Adjustment of the centers for dealing with China Work Permit affairs<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The original center for dealing with China Work Permit formalities in Liwan, Baiyun, Zengcheng, and Conghua, has been replaced by the Guangzhou International Student Service Center.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The original center for dealing with China Work Permit formalities in Huangpu\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">has been<\/span>\u00a0replaced by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Huangpu district.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #209361;\"><strong>2.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>New measures to simplify China Work Permit formalities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Measure 1<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Applicants who are selected as part of China&#8217;s national plans for high-end talents can now finish the China Work Permit first-time application, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/extension\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">extension<\/a> and modification online &#8211; \u00a0submitting paper documents are no longer required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Measure 2<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For Category A applicants, their employers are only required to submit related documents online for the China Work Permit application, paper documents are no longer required.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Measure 3<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Canceling the procedure related to submitting paper documents for China Work Permit extensions for Category A applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Measure 4<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Canceling partial procedures related to submitting paper\u00a0documents of China Work Permit first-time application for\u00a0Category B and C applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Measure 5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">All procedures for China Work Permits with regard to cancellation, modification, and reapplying can be finished online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\"><strong style=\"color: #993366;\">Measure 6<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Applicants can directly submit paper documents for dealing with the affairs related to the cancellation of Alien Employment Permits and Foreign Expert Certificates &#8211; online pre-review is no longer required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong style=\"color: #993366;\">Measure 7<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">For foreigners who have ever been granted a China Work Permit, when they come to China to work again, a certificate (diploma) of their highest academic degree is not required. If they apply for the same working position as the previous one, a job qualification certificate is not required. If the new application is submitted at a time within the validity of the previously issued Residence Permit for Work, a non-criminal record certificate is not required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong style=\"color: #993366;\">Measure 8<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Making it more efficient for China Work Permit applications for Category A applicants, formalities related to cancellation and extension can be finished within 5 working days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Q &amp; A<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Q:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.hiredchina.com\/FiBTbouYPpnyegFS9BKslrK__i0o?imageView2\/0\/format\/webp\/q\/75\" alt=\"3.jpg\" width=\"632\" height=\"81\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">A:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The relevant new measures are applicable to Category A foreigners in Guangzhou, no matter what kind of company they work for. But for measure 3, Category A foreigners who apply for China Work Permit extension based on the condition of meeting the salary standard is excluded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Background |<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Applicants fall under Category A if they meet any of the six pre-defined conditions, one of which is earning over six times the average local salary.
