With this new feature, you can send a distress signal and your real-time location immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/span><\/strong>: Open Settings – click Emergency SOS<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2<\/span><\/strong>: Click\u00a0 “Set up Emergency Contact in Health”,\u00a0 then add contact\u00a0Medical ID or add directly from your address book.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Auto call means that during the countdown for emergency contact, your phone will emit a piercing alarm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you don’t want to disturb others, you can turn off the “auto call”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Once you\u2019ve set it up, click the power button on the right side of your phone five times in case of an emergency or whenever you\u2019re in danger, and it\u00a0 will automatically call your emergency contact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even if a distress call is interrupted, the phone sends your location information to the emergency contact within\u00a010 seconds<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n

– Open Settings\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

– Click accessibility\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

– SOS\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

– Add emergency contact (up to 4 people)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are in danger,\u00a0 the phone automatically posts a distress message by\u00a0tapping the power button three times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Your phone will automatically send four messages to your emergency contacts with information that includes:\u00a0\u00a0real-time location, 5 seconds of recording,\u00a0and two pictures using\u00a0the front and rear cameras.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a smart key with a custom corresponding function. The state of interest can also be enabled; you can buy a flashlight, take photos, and can also set up automatic calls!<\/span><\/p>\n

Huawei also has an “emergency call\u201d option on the unlock page, which can set help you set up your own medical emergency card and add emergency contacts.<\/span><\/p>\n

I think many other phone brands have similar functions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’re in danger and you can’t just pull out your phone and ask for help, then you can (and should!) use this feature to send a text message to your emergency contact, as well as real-time location.<\/span><\/p>\n
