Photo: Handout<\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>On Thursday afternoon, the 72-year-old woman\u2019s leg became trapped in the gap between the platform and the train carriage, according to a Guangzhou Metro incident notice published by the Guangzhou Daily.<\/p>\n<p>But with help from metro staff, her fellow passengers and some lubricant, the woman was pulled out with only minor injuries, according to the <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"inside_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hiredchina.com\/articles\/tag\/news\/\" title=\"View all posts in news\" >news<\/a>paper report. She was <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"inside_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hiredchina.com\/articles\/tag\/travel\/\" title=\"View all posts in travel\" >travel<\/a>ling alone at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Internet users praised the Good Samaritan <a href=\"https:\/\/dictionary.cambridge.org\/us\/dictionary\/english\/commuter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commuters<\/a> after pictures were posted on <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"inside_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hiredchina.com\/articles\/tag\/social\/\" title=\"View all posts in social\">social<\/a> media, showing passengers forcing the door open as others reach down to help the woman, who was trapped up to her thigh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood news!
