You do not need to submit these documents every time you come to China. The only time you need to provide these documents is when you first apply for your 10-year visa.<\/p>\n

As with other Chinese visas, the processing time for a 10-year visa is 2-4 working days.<\/p>\n

What if my passport expires in less than 10 years?<\/p>\n

If your passport has recently expired, all you have to do is bring the expired passport with the visa and present it with the new one. As long as all the information is the same in both passports, they will allow it. In other words, if you get married and your name changes, this won’t work for you.<\/p>\n

After a while, though, you’ll have to transfer the visa from your old passport to the new one.
