Photo: Handout<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The money, all 100-yuan banknotes, were torn up into such small pieces that Gao found it was impossible to reconstruct them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried very carefully for two days but could only repair a few of the notes. Some were torn up into a couple of pieces, and some into a dozen. It\u2019s too hard,\u201d he was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n<p>The father, who is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dictionary.com\/browse\/businessman\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">businessman<\/a>, said the money was a loan from the bank.
