During non-rush hours, males can ride in the carriages.<\/p>\n<p>Although male passengers aren\u2019t strictly prohibited from entering these carriages, they are strongly encouraged to avoid them during rush hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Currently around the world, nine countries, including Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Mexico and Brazil, have set up women-only carriages on the city metro. But the practice is still new to China.
