However, when I started the conversation with that police, I noticed something is wrong here&#8230;..<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mmbiz.qpic.cn\/mmbiz_png\/p6Vlqvia1UiczaedEC5hBgCoOk7vL9ey2Ef77BNjSTGK2ycy7F9Y4EmJv3bbQzEpRtgG56W1BmLXI7TWH7pibSEng\/640?wx_fmt=png&amp;tp=webp&amp;wxfrom=5&amp;wx_lazy=1\" width=\"19px\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: start;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"2.jpg\" style=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.hiredchina.com\/Flv8jWWj7BKM5iOSdv1yyuLj_CCd?imageView2\/0\/format\/webp\/q\/75\" width=\"640\" height=\"405\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: start;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 18px;\">As Simon has a good understanding of different cultures and a good command of using languages, he found&nbsp;more nonsense appeared in the conversation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 18px;\">Certain words like &#8220;police&#8221; and &#8220;sir&#8221; have different sayings in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China mainland.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 18px;\">He was asked for more personal information like passport number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 18px;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: start;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">All these clues lead him to think of&nbsp;<strong>the giant telephone scam gangs in Taiwan.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Then he chec<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">ked Fuzhou police office address and telephone number online,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>what surprised him was that information perfectly matched with that &#8220;police&#8221; provided.<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(227, 55, 55);\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">2.&nbsp; <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What&#8217;s going on here?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: start;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Simon immediately called the Fuzhou police according to the telephone number he found online. Police&nbsp;<strong>never and won&#8217;t<\/strong>&nbsp;have an investigation by phone, all the procedures are required to work by rules. If you involve in any case, they will come to you directly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">2. Police know all of your information by just knowing your phone number, including your location, names, nationality, passport number&#8230;etc. So it&#8217;s unnecessary for them to ask your personal information on the phone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">3.<strong>&nbsp;M<\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>ost telephone scams start&nbsp;with robotic&nbsp;voice and guide you to leak out more personal&nbsp;information. If you are not being aware, scammers can use your personal information to cheat on your money.<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">4. If you are not sure it is a scam or not, you can just call the police telephone number 110 to confirm.
