1.\u00a0 How Much You Need to Pay?<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For non-permanent\u00a0residence holders,<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>since\u00a0you can’t buy housing subsidy.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>So, if your salary is\u00a0RMB10,000<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0before tax, after deducting social insurance, you get\u00a0<\/span>RMB 8,980<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Here is the equation:<\/span><\/p>\n

10,000-800-200-20 = RMB 8,980<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Here, the result (RMB 8,980) is just for the deduction of social insurance,\u00a0not\u00a0including tax.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, if you keep the same monthly salary\u00a0RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0<\/strong>you\u00a0and your company monthly need to pay\u00a0RMB 1020\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<\/strong>RMB 2289\u00a0<\/strong>respectively\u00a0for social insurance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 How Much You Can Get When Leaving China?\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n


\nYou can get\u00a0your\u00a0personal payment of pension<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>when leaving China before reaching the age of retirement.<\/span><\/p>\n

That amount is your monthly personal payment of pension multiplying the months you pay social insurance.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For example, if your salary before tax is RMB10,000 then your personal payment of pension is RMB 800. After 10 years (120 months) paying social insurance, the amount of money you can get when leaving China is:<\/span><\/p>\n

800*120= RMB 96,000<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 How to Get\u00a0The Money?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Go to the local Social Security Bureau which your\u00a0LAST<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>company belongs to. If you move to another city, we suggest you take out the\u00a0pension\u00a0before moving, because the system of\u00a0Social Security Bureau in different cities are not connected. That’s quite inconvenient to go between cities on this issue.\u00a0Here are three documents needed for the application:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Confirm\u00a0<\/strong>letter\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\n

    Provided by the\u00a0local Social Security Bureau.
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Passport<\/strong><\/span>\n

    Both original and photocopy\u00a0are needed.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Debit Bank Card<\/strong><\/span>\n

    Only four banks are accepted:\u00a0Bank of China;\u00a0Industrial & Commercial Bank;\u00a0Agricultural Bank of China;\u00a0China Construction Bank<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your\u00a0total personal\u00a0payment of pension<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0will return back to your debit card in one time. It’s estimated to take seven working days.<\/span><\/p>\n
