The company sells a software that claims to \u201cenable people to learn 32% better and up to 300% faster with over 80% retention in real time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.hiredchina.com\/FjxrwHwmXhHcITjHOLclLDPpwARB?imageView2\/0\/format\/webp\/q\/75\" alt=\"2.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"740\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Photo_nextsharkcom\"><\/span>Photo: nextshark.com<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3e3e3e; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #3e3e3e; font-size: 16px;\">Sniedzins\u2019 LinkedIn profile describes him as an \u201cArtificial Intelligence Gamification Patent Inventor, Keynote Speaker, Professor, Bestselling Author and Award-winning Poet.\u201d\u00a0It was, however, later edited to remove the part where he\u2019s an Award-winning Poet and a Bestselling Author. His credentials all sound really impressive\u00a0until it was recently exposed that the company\u2019s celebrated founder bought a <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"inside_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hiredchina.com\/articles\/tag\/fake-degree\/\" title=\"View all posts in fake degree\" >fake degree<\/a> from a diploma mill.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.hiredchina.com\/FlNjmDaFsN7fvZXAr2Wzlk7mnm4q?imageView2\/0\/format\/webp\/q\/75\" alt=\"3.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"337\" title=\"\">Photo: nextshark.com<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), Sniedzins was issued a degree by Kings Lake University \u201cbased on his previous life experience and professional accomplishments\u201d for just $8,100. A CBC Marketplace investigation had earlier\u00a0revealed that Kings Lake University, along with other fake online schools, were selling fake degrees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI don\u2019t necessarily like to pay $30,000 to get a master\u2019s when I feel I already have the knowledge,\u201d Sniedzins was quoted as saying. Sniedzins said he found the diploma mill in 2014 after searching the internet\u00a0for a master\u2019s degree that would \u201cvalidate\u201d his professional and life experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.hiredchina.com\/FmCRg1k2y0F1oNWlAxNsHIbQ-M_Z?imageView2\/0\/format\/webp\/q\/75\" alt=\"1.png\" width=\"656\" height=\"348\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Photo_nextsharkcom-2\"><\/span>Photo: nextshark.com<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>After contacting Kings Lake University over the phone, he was asked to send some proof of his professional and life experience, which immediately qualified him for a degree.\u00a0 \u201cTo me, that\u2019s the direction that things are going. So I figured these guys were the vanguard of that type of stuff.\u201d As it\u00a0turned out, Kings Lake University is just one of seferal online schools run by the Pakistan-based fake degree mill Axact. Photo: CBC<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yet, despite many telling signs, including the fact that an affidavit certifying his degree was signed by former U.S. secretary of state John Kerry, Sniedzins claimed that he thought the university was authentic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cIt felt like they were more legit than the other ones. Their website\u2019s pretty good.
