Job Description
We are seeking a K-5 English Language Arts (ELA) Curriculum Developer to design and build a comprehensive literacy curriculum for students in kindergarten through grade 5. Responsibilities include: developing standards-aligned unit and lesson plans; creating student materials, teacher guides, and assessments; applying evidence-based literacy practices (phonics, phonological awareness, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing); providing differentiated support for English Language Learners and diverse learners; collaborating with editors and designers; piloting materials in classrooms and iterating based on feedback; and training teachers on curriculum implementation.
Requirements
Location:Shanghai/Guangzhou/Shenzhen/Beijing/Ningbo
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Education, English, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field;
2. 3+ years of experience in K-5 teaching, curriculum development, or educational publishing;
3. Strong knowledge of the Science of Reading and evidence-based literacy instruction;
4. Familiarity with K-5 ELA standards (e.g., Common Core State Standards);
5. Excellent English writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail;
6. Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred: Master's degree, K-5 classroom teaching experience, and experience developing materials for English Language Learners.
