Job Description
E-commerce Creative & Performance Manager
Diversitech Global is looking for an E-commerce Creative & Performance Manager to lead the connection between our Design Department and B2C E-commerce Operations team.
The role is responsible for ensuring that creative work is designed specifically for each e-commerce platform, measured after launch, continuously tested, and improved using real commercial performance data.
Hi-Spec sells across multiple international e-commerce and social-commerce platforms, with Amazon as our largest channel. The successful candidate will help build the systems that connect creative design with platform requirements, competitor intelligence, A/B testing, conversion performance and AI-assisted workflows.
This is not a traditional graphic design management role. It is a commercial role focused on improving how creative work contributes to traffic, conversion and sales.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Platform Creative Standards
Build and maintain clear creative requirements and best-practice standards for Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, DTC websites and other B2C platforms.
2. Creative Performance & A/B Testing
Create a structured testing culture within the Design Department. Every designer should regularly participate in A/B testing and understand how their creative work affects CTR, conversion and other commercial metrics.
3. Performance Dashboards
Develop reporting dashboards that connect designers, SKUs, creative assets, tests and commercial results, allowing the team to identify what works and continuously improve.
4. Competitor & Conversion Intelligence
Benchmark leading competitors, analyse their listing presentation and work with E-commerce Operations to turn competitor and market intelligence into better-performing creative.
5. AI-Assisted Design Workflow
Implement and continuously improve our existing AI-assisted design operating system, including AI design SOPs, prompt libraries, product-truth controls, QA, Feishu workflow management and structured learning.
6. Design Team Commercial Development
Help designers understand platform behaviour, customer decision-making, conversion metrics and commercial performance rather than focusing only on visual quality.
7. Creative Quality & Brand Consistency
Maintain strong visual standards and accurate product presentation across Hi-Spec B2C channels.
The objective is simple:
Design → Publish → Measure → Test → Learn → Improve
Salary: RMB 15,000–20,000 per month, negotiable depending on skills and experience.
This is a commercial leadership role with performance-based KPI bonuses. Strong performers may earn approximately 30% additional annual bonus.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong visual judgement with commercial thinking, data awareness and structured execution.
This role does not require the candidate to be the strongest hands-on graphic designer. We are looking for someone who can connect Design, E-commerce Operations, Data, AI and Commercial Performance.
Preferred requirements include:
- Experience in B2C e-commerce, digital commerce or e-commerce creative management.
- Good understanding of Amazon listing optimization and e-commerce customer behaviour.
- Experience with Amazon strongly preferred.
- Experience with TikTok Shop, Walmart, DTC websites or other international e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
- Strong visual judgement and attention to detail.
- Commercial mindset with an understanding that creative work should contribute to measurable business results.
- Understanding of CTR, conversion rate and other e-commerce performance metrics.
- Experience with A/B testing, listing optimization or conversion-rate optimization.
- Ability to benchmark competitors and identify creative and commercial opportunities.
- Comfortable working with dashboards, data and structured reporting.
- Strong project-management and process-management ability.
- Experience implementing SOPs and improving cross-department workflows.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or AI-assisted design platforms.
- Experience with workflow platforms such as Feishu, Notion, Airtable or similar systems is useful.
- Graphic design software knowledge is useful but not essential.
- Able to work effectively between creative and operational teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a large number of products and ongoing listing improvements.
- Strong English communication skills.
The most important characteristic is the ability to ask:
“Did this creative actually perform better?”
rather than merely:
“Does this creative look better?”
