Job Description
- Manage recruitment activities across Malaysia and other Southeast Asian markets, including CV screening, candidate communication, interview coordination, follow-up, and onboarding.
- Support hiring for electronics, semiconductor, manufacturing, and other business functions.
- Build local recruitment channels and candidate pipelines.
- Coordinate closely with the China headquarters and overseas teams on hiring progress.
- Arrange on-site interviews and candidate visits.
HR Operations
- Support onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, attendance, leave, and employee records.
- Prepare monthly payroll data and coordinate with Finance, payroll vendors, or accounting firms.
- Assist with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, work permits, and other local HR matters.
- Monitor changes in Malaysian employment regulations and support improvements to local HR policies and processes.
- Provide employee support and help strengthen engagement within the overseas team.
Administration
- Coordinate daily office administration, including office supplies, asset records, vendor management, and facility maintenance.
- Arrange meetings, accommodation, transportation, and reception for visiting teams.
- Support expense claims, petty cash records, and basic administrative budgets.
- Liaise with local banks, property management, government agencies, and external service providers when required.
Documentation and Regional Support
- Maintain employee files, contracts, company licences, and operational documents.
- Support Chinese- and English-language documentation and communication.
- Assist with HR policy research and coordination for the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and other regional markets as the business expands.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, English, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR operations, or HR administration.
- Recruitment experience in electronics, semiconductors, manufacturing, or industrial companies is preferred but not required.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin and English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Malaysian employment regulations, payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, or work permit processes is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to handle a broad range of HR and administrative responsibilities.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-growing international environment.
