The HiredChina Team Attends the Xiamen International Talent Matching Event (Chengdu Station)

On April 26, the 2026 Xiamen International Talent Matching Event was held in Chengdu. This marks the third specialized talent matching event hosted by Xiamen since 2025 and also represents another cross-provincial talent acquisition initiative following Beijing. The event was jointly organized by the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Office of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee for Education, Science & Technology, and Talent Work, and the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security. A total of 37 key employers from Xiamen offered high-level positions such as algorithm experts, research and development engineers, and researchers, with top annual salaries reaching up to RMB 1.5 million.

According to statistics, nearly 500 international talents attended the event, primarily from institutions such as Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Southwest University of Finance and Economics. The attendees were predominantly master's and doctoral degree holders from over 30 countries including France, Germany, Italy, Russia, South Korea, and Pakistan. Their expertise spans fields such as electronic information, mechanical engineering, education, and cultural creativity—highly aligned with Xiamen’s '4+4+6' modern industrial system.

Our team actively participated in this event, engaging in in-depth discussions with human resources representatives from multiple participating organizations. Many companies expressed that with the acceleration of overseas expansion, there is an increasing urgent demand for international talents who possess Chinese language proficiency and strong professional alignment. At the same time, our team also communicated with several international students currently studying at universities in Chengdu, gaining insights into their job-seeking intentions and career plans.

Going forward, we will organize the enterprise demands and talent information collected on-site to facilitate precise follow-up matching and recommendations. HiredChina will continue to monitor talent exchange activities across regions, proactively connect resources, and serve as a professional bridge between talent and enterprises.
