Job Responsibilities
Product Selection Strategy Planning and Execution: Develop product selection plans that align with the brand tone based on market trends, user profiles, and sales channel characteristics. Cover core categories such as blind boxes, action figures, assembly models, and two-dimensional (2D) peripherals. Complete new product screening, profit calculation, and implementation. Formulate monthly procurement plans to ensure continuous product line updates and matching with market demands. Life Cycle and Inventory Management: Monitor the performance of products throughout their life cycles. Adjust inventory strategies dynamically based on sales data and market demands, formulate 退市计划 (delisting plans) and promotion schemes, optimize inventory turnover, and control the risk of unsold items. Adjust replenishment rhythms dynamically, responding promptly to market feedback and sales data. Market Insight and Industry Analysis: Continuously track the dynamics of China's and overseas trendy toy markets. Study trends in the IP derivatives industry and user preferences, regularly issue best-seller prediction reports, and capture market hotspots with rapid responses. Maintain high sensitivity to the consumption preferences of Generation Z and possess strong market insight. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with design, operations, and marketing teams to promote new product development and promotion plans. Work with the graphic design team to complete the visual schemes for new product listings.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications: College degree or above; 3-5 years of experience in product selection/buying in trendy toys, 2D derivatives, or the retail industry. Have successful cases of independently responsible for product line or store product selection. Industry Knowledge: Deeply understand the trendy toy and 2D culture, as well as the IP derivatives industry chain. Be familiar with popular IPs (such as games and animations) and their derivative development logic. Core Competencies: Data Analysis Ability: Proficient in using tools to analyze sales data and formulate scientific product selection and inventory strategies. Market Sensitivity: Quickly capture the consumption trends of Generation Z and predict the potential of best-sellers based on social media 热度 (popularity). Soft Skills: Have strong communication and coordination skills, stress resistance, and innovation awareness. Adapt to fast-paced work environments. Heavy trendy toy enthusiasts must submit personal trendy toy collection files (such as physical photos/purchase records/second-hand platform transaction records, etc.) when applying.
