Job Description The K-12 Private school is located in Daxing District of Beijing. The school is hiring a Middle School ELA Teacher for ASAP start, could provide instructional guidance in middle school ELA courses (Grades 7-9), while actively contributing to our students and school through associated roles expected of a holistic professional educator in a dynamic system dedicated to honor, excellence, community and joy. 1.Teach at least 20 classes and 45 minutes periods per week. 2.Teach students in grades 9 -12 as assigned. 3.Work on curriculum development, which includes preparing effective diverse lesson units based on the school’s curriculum formats using the Understanding by Design(UbD). 4.Collaborate with the department teachers through fostering a team focused department. 5. Design authentic assessments and measure their effectiveness in meeting curricular goals. 6..Maintain and update timely student records including grading (homework, grade books, progress reports, report cards, student attendance, and other required documents). Employer Description The school is a private K-12 bilingual school to provide complete education for kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. Job Requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) in secondary education or other closely related fields. 2. Experience in teaching ESL, also in teaching composition and literature for at least 3 years. 3. Teaching Certification from a recognized institution. Benefits 1. Basic salary: 20k-30k before tax 2.
