Teaching high school students posed a completely new task for my teaching career, but I adapted quickly and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. I obtained important IELTS knowledge by attending workshops and online courses to improve my knowledge. I also taught iGCSE English (Extended), the writing and speaking components. All my students achieved the grades and scores they wanted/needed to study abroad for university. My dedication to the students was acknowledged by my school when they gave me the Outstanding Teacher award in 2020, which is a highlight in my career.

I wrote football articles on popular matches and issues at the time in the sport. I have developed many skills in proofreading, journalism, editing and copy writing.

I began my first classroom teaching job as a primary school teacher in Hangzhou. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience where I gained a wealth of knowledge about teaching students grade 2-6. I owe a lot to this school as they invested in me and showed patience. They helped me all the time and I am glad to have repaid their faith by ensuring the students enjoyed learning English and got good results.

I started tutoring beginners how to play piano whilst I was doing my A-Levels. I found it very fun to apply what I had learned to a beginner and seeing their progress over the months really made me feel proud.

I studied 4 years at Coventry University (one of those as an Erasmus year in Madrid, Spain). I learned how to incorporate music into education to help teach young students. Most of the modules required me to meet a specific brief with my compositions.
