Performs in hotels, stages, and other various venues around China. • Rehearses consistently with other musicians to create an engaging performance. • Observes the style of the music the venue requests and matches this style with ease. • Uses improvisational skills to make popular music, original and engage with the audience.
Performs in multiple sections of a classical guitar orchestra. • Uses sight-reading and a good ear to create a unified sound. • Attentive to timing and dynamics according to the conductor’s instructions. • Practices a strong work ethic and attention to detail when working with other orchestral members.
Teaches at-risk youth aged 12-16 guitar performance, music history, and music theory. • Plans engaging and creative lessons according to the curriculum provided by the school.Manages peaceful classroom environment through positive communication and encouragement. • Conducts at-home visits to observe the family environment. • Records youth’s progress and writes evaluations that also involved youth’s behavioral and social progress. • Maintains parent communication through monthly parent meetings.
Composes original works and curated new renditions of previous songs for performances. • Works with singers, dancers, drummers, and guitarists with varying capabilities to maintain a fluid and impressive show. • Collaborates with the choreographer to ensure dance and music will blend in the composition. • Manages musical artists by creating schedules for rehearsals and clearly communicating each individual’s responsibilities. • Mediates disagreements between team members to build unity and trust. • Arrives to every rehearsal to lead, survey, and manage the group performance to ensure success.
