Kids Yoga Freelance Teacher
Mighty Kids Yoga
Jul 2009 - Aug 2013(4 years)

Taught kids yoga at nurseries and as an after school club in Ireland. Children aged 3-10 years. Class plans; guided children through various kids yoga stories, differentiated by age; whereby the children themselves became the heroes in the story, through providing their own critical thinking for solutions and ideas to help the character in the story solve their problems. This blended seamlessly into a relaxation as we'd lie down, close our eyes and think back on the amazing adventure we've just had together. Following on from the story, we played fun yoga inspired group and partner games, dance, partner poses, incorporate partner poses into yoga inspired games, mindfulness stories, neck & shoulder relaxation and finish the lesson with a take home activity. School aged children completed a Yoga Test at the end of each term, starting from level 1. Children would perform a sequence of poses for their parents and receive a certification.
