We are seeking an Overseas Investigations & Due Diligence Specialist to lead field investigations and due diligence across our global investment portfolio. You'll deploy to project countries to conduct on-the-ground research, verify sources, interview key stakeholders, and assess risk — providing independent judgment to support investment decisions.
What You'll Do
• Lead due diligence assignments from intake to conclusion — investment target background checks, counterparty reputation reviews, security environment assessments, supply chain and operational risk screening.
• Gather and assess evidence through open-source intelligence, field visits, surveillance materials, stakeholder interviews, and electronic records; analyze and document findings.
• Conduct and direct witness interviews; present findings to business units and senior leadership.
• Produce clear, well-structured investigation reports, case files, and supporting materials that meet legal and regulatory standards.
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend risk mitigation and process improvements.
• Build working relationships with external counsel, auditors, security consultants, and local law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
• Undertake extended on-site deployments to project countries as project timelines require.
