Responsible for Vendor Development, Vendor Evaluation, designing and implementing rate contracts, coordinating with suppliers, contractors, sub-contractors, project site, engineering, User Department, stores. Compliance with the organization’s approved procurement & contracting procedures. Establishing industry best practices and systems in procurement activities with an aim to have proper control and visibility on spend for cost optimization and inventory control. Interaction with finance & accounts team for budget verification & addressing queries raised by pre & post audit team. Analyzing contract documents to determine contractual compliances/ obligations and preparing recommendations regarding acceptance or modifications. Preparation of vendor qualification criteria, short listing pre-qualified bidders & issuance of RFQ to potential bidders. Negotiation with contractors/vendors for finalizing scope of work/supply, delivery of goods according to requirement, pricing, terms & conditions like taxation, insurance, indemnity, performance bank guarantee, liquidated damages, technical performance parameters.

Spearheading entire gamut of operations including Procurement, Purchase, Sourcing, Quality of material and analyzing or estimating production costs, such as labor, equipment, or plant space Analyzing the mechanical design of auto parts such as front shockers, differential, gearbox, high speed motors Updating, revising, and modifying all in-house systems and procedures to meet the needs of external certification bodies Formulating the long-term and short-term budgets for investment in new and existing technologies, modifying and driving investments Monitoring & inspecting quality assurance processes at suppliers end; working in solving problems with vendors for all quality related issues Managing the Supplier Quality Engineering Department and spearheading entire gamut of tasks pertaining to Supplier Quality Management Activities at Global Level Executing Production Process Plan & Quality Activities; implementing and monitoring stringent QA/QC management system and quality plans / manuals to ensure high quality standards Coordinating with vendor for development of customized design as per specified in technical drawings Providing support and troubleshooting customer problems/manufacturing queries using new and existing engineering technologies and providing root cause analysis to problems by using QC tools Validating new technologies and applying testing methods during prototype builds in development phase; managing and planning activities of the tool room facilities and toolmakers in line with ISO 9001:2008, and ISO/TS 16949 Managing testing of BLDC motors for electric scooter using engineering principles and techniques Assisting mechanical engineers in product testing through activities such as setting up instrumentation for automobile tests Conducting internal and external system audits and timely closure of Audit non-conformance Indulging in providing training to others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures
