Job Description • Developed an effective procurement strategy for time-critical BOOT projects. • Identify, audit, and negotiate with critical OEM vendors of Industrial grade Computers and IP-grade handheld devices. Ensure delivered products meet stringent technical requirements, quality, and project timelines. • Integrated critical subsystems like- M2M communication modules, 2D barcode scanners, rugged thermal printers, IP grade handheld terminals with NFC readers, etc., and create a complete solution. Negotiated long-term supply and support contracts with the manufacturing partners of these subsystems to ensure an undisrupted supply of materials. • Coordinate with freight forwarders to deliver these high-value goods in the best and shortest possible transit times to the end destination safely. • Monitor and liaise between various internal departments and vendors to streamline the handover of important information and technical support details. • Assess, forecast, and incorporate the latest industrial solutions that will enhance the efficiency of the project.
