Jobs In China For Foreigners No Degree

China is now so focused on education that a four-year degree (college) is commonplace, and college students now have a sense of being "qualified for a good job" even though they don't have any skills that fit the market. However, the Chinese job market isn't just for college students; there are many other jobs available in China that allow you to work without a degree, some of which may require an associate's degree or lower, including jobs in medicine, sales, construction, and sales.

Nursing

Nursing is just one of those fields that does not require a bachelor's degree. This field is growing rapidly and has the largest number of people employed each year. To become a nurse in China, you need to have a nursing license, do a three-month internship, pass the Chinese NCLEX exam, be fluent in English, and learn Mandarin well. However, because there are so many expats and international organizations and schools in China, you can work as a nurse in schools, institutions, home health agencies, nursing care facilities and doctors' offices. Other health care jobs that only require an associate's degree include dental hygienists, radiographers and technicians, respiratory therapists and physical therapist assistants.

SalesMan

There are a large number of manufacturing companies in China that are willing to hire foreigners for sales and business development positions, not necessarily with a degree. Ideally, a sales position does not require a high school degree or higher, the key is your character, sales attitude, ability to represent the company, and ability to bring the product to market. Rather, it depends on your experience and understanding of the corporate culture. In this context, how well do you understand Chinese business etiquette and culture? If pushing a product in an international market, are you able to communicate effectively, do you have strong critical thinking skills and language skills?

There are many other jobs that you can do, such as working as a real estate agent, beautician, beauty salon job, department store job, security guard, driver, and many more that you can do without a degree in China.

Iinternship

Most people who study in China do so as interns in foreign companies or public institutions. An internship is one of the effective ways to work in China without a degree, as you will build a good network of contacts that will provide you with better opportunities for future work. In addition to internships, you can also volunteer to work in communities or businesses in China. You don't have to have a degree, but with determination, you can get a good job in an enterprise where you already work or in another foreign company willing to hire someone with some experience in China.

Modeling And Acting

In China, white looks are highly valued. A lot of companies are looking for white people to do some basic modeling or acting for their product/commercial, even without any experience. Is there a better way to work in China? In order to get such a job, contacts are very important. Meet up with other expats and you'll have someone to point you in the right direction, as this is one of the more popular forms of employment among the expat community.

Hospitality

There are so many international hotels in China that are looking for native English speaking candidates to work for them. Jobs range from cooks and waiters to receptionists and guides. It's decent and you can make real money working in a modern five star hotel or similar. The hotel industry is booming in China, and they are looking for foreigners who can work in China year-round, without a degree as a prerequisite.

China is a country of great potential and the opportunities to work there are endless. The examples above are just some of the possibilities for you to work in China, but there are many more. China's economy is on the rise and in order to sustain it, they need expertise in all aspects of life, not just technical fields that require a high degree. Some job opportunities can be grueling and overwhelming, but with the right attitude and determination, you will succeed.
