The library is designed by Netherlands-based architecture firm MVRDV and took three years to build.
It has education facilities such as reading rooms, book and lounge areas, computer rooms and audio rooms. However, bookshelves are its main highlights.
Combining white curved walls and a terrace design, these bookshelves are intended to create not only stairs but also seating:

From the outside, the building has an oval opening onto the interior, where the sphere is seen in the centre. Because of this, some comments on social media have dubbed the building “The Eye.”
As a nod to its futuristic architectural designs and unique curves, many refer to this library as a “Sea of knowledge” (given its curved bookshelves) and “Super Sci-Fi.”
