Overview

Alain Charles Asia, formerly known as Alain Charles Publishing Ltd Beijing office, in October, 1989 was the very first publishing company allowed to open an office in mainland China. Former Vice Premier Chen Mu Hua and Vice-Chairman of the 9th NPC Standing Committee Wang Guangying, were in attendance for the grand opening ceremony for the office and cut the ribbon at the event.In 2008, as business expanded Alain Charles Asia Publishing Ltd. was formed to manage the Asia-Pacific region.The China Business Handbook is ACA’s main publication in China. The China Business Handbook is the premier annual business guide for China and was first introduced in 1998. Besides business and statistics, the book also covers topics such as leisure, tourism, and living in China. Currently it is offered in English and Chinese.
