Main Responsibilities • Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the School • Give lessons of English language teaching to the students at age of 4-18 (to be further catagorized according to teacher’s capability and personality) • Familiarize with teaching materials of the School and make lesson plans in advance • Develop and use suitable supplementary materials as necessary • Communicate frequently with parents on students ‘progress • Make progress reports, tests and assessments for students • Carry out teaching related responsibilities including, but not limited to demonstration classes, conversation clubs, tutorials, seminars and presentations • Attend School social events and promotion functions Professional Development • Regularly evaluate own performance and progress • Participate in workshops of teaching skills development of the School • Observe and be observed by the teaching colleagues of the School • Be pro-active in improving teaching skills through sharing knowledge with colleagues, and using teaching resources found in the School, Internet and any other available sources Requirements English non-native speaker with good English command with Bachelor's Degree and teaching experiences without any religious and political affiliation Benefits 6,000 RMB basic Salary including 60 teaching hours 100 RMB for each teaching hour over the above-mentioned 60 teaching hours 8,000 RMB Flight allowance after the contract is fully fulfilled Free accomodation and Assistance to settling in and solving daily problems Free Chinese language tutoring Processing all the legal documents including work permit and residence permit Low living cost which is estimated to be less than 1000 RMB per person monthly not including major stuff purchasement or luxious expenses. Mountain-Ray, located in a tourism city of Tengchong, Yunnan Province, in Southwest China, is an English language school established by Mr. Ma, a retired Chinese diplomat, who moved his family from Chengdu to Tengchong with a wish to provide better English language education for kids living in a remote area of China. Why Tengchong? Tengchong is a small but unbelievably beautiful city in southwest of China, where the local people cherish the Chinese traditions of valuing education and respecting teachers. The local kids study very hard and achieve high grades on their written exams. However, they speak very bad English as there are few good English-speaking people teaching here. So these hard-working kids study very hard only to acquire poor pronunciation and sometimes awkward grammar.
