About Us Anhui International Studies University, established with the approval of the National Ministry of Education, is the only provincial university specializing in foreign languages education. Of the thirteen foreign language institutions in the country, it is the only one situated in Central China. Located in the scenic area of the beautiful Zipeng Mountain National Forest Park, AFLU boasts a campus with distinctive European architecture and a full-time student body of 10,000, enrolled from Anhui Province and various other regions of China. Adhering to the school motto of “A good command of Chinese and western culture and perfect integration of theory and practice,” the university is committed to training professional and high-quality people with a strong mastery of foreign language skills, and equipping them for making a career in cultural and tourist sectors as well as foreign related enterprises.
