Overview
Huali was founded on September 28, 1970, initially formed by the merger of three small workshops manufacturing umbrellas, brooms, and bamboo products, and began producing small-scale electric meters. In the 1990s, it developed into the largest company in China's electrical instrument industry. Subsequently, it transitioned from a factory-based development model to diversified investments. Today, Huali has evolved into a diversified investment and development private enterprise group with Huali Group Co., Ltd. as the parent company and multiple industrial group companies. The company focuses on industrial operations, industrial investment, and integration. In September 2021, Huali was listed among the "Top 100 Enterprises in Zhejiang Province for 2021." In September 2022, it was ranked 370th on the "Top 500 Private Enterprises in China for 2022" list and 233rd on the "Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises in China for 2022" list. Currently, Huali holds controlling stakes in two A-share listed companies: Jianmin Group (SH600976) and Huazheng New Material (SH603186), and has a stake in Huamei Holdings (SZ000607), another A-share listed company. The company invests in and nurtures industries related to healthcare services, traditional Chinese medicine, prescription drugs, precision medical services, clean energy, the Internet of Things, new materials, and innovative entrepreneurship services. Huali has also formed an international capacity cooperation platform with overseas industrial parks, successfully implementing a new model for private enterprises from "product export" to "industrial export" and then to "overseas platforms." It has three postdoctoral research stations, five national technology centers, six industrial research institutes, eight provincial-level enterprise technology centers, seven well-known Chinese trademarks, twelve high-tech enterprises, and a research team of several thousand members. Since its inception nearly half a century ago, Huali has adhered to the business philosophy of "enhancing social welfare and realizing personal value" and aims to "create a global brand and establish a century-old Huali." It is in the process of transforming from a Chinese local enterprise to a multinational company with global operational capabilities and competitiveness.
