Overview

As the first private university established in Guangdong, GCC has a campus that occupies an area of 1000 mu (70 hectares) with a total floor space of 300,000m2. The campus is currently catering for over 16,000 students studying on 28 undergraduate programs covering science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, art, etc. provided by eight secondary schools. The university has a total of 800 staff members, including 500 teachers, of whom 30 percent are professorship holders. As a huge advantage over most other colleges/universities in Guangdong, GCC has a special secondary school, the International College, that is authorized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to provide “2+2” and “3+1” international joint programs in cooperation with universities from the US, the UK and Australia currently.
