Overview

Hunan Chemical Vocational Technology College, established in 1958, is located in the largest transportation hub in southern China—— Zhuzhou, which is crowned as the nation’s model city in traffic management, sanitation, tourism, green spaces and financial ecology —— a city of high investment value. The college consists of five schools: School of Chemical Engineering, School of Pharmacy and Bio- engineering, School of Electromechanical Engineering, School of Automation and Information Engineering, and Business School, as well as teaching units including the Department of General Studies and Ideological and Political Department. We offer 30 programs in total, with over 10000 enrolled students. The faculty currently exceeds 600 members, with almost 400 full-time teachers, 23 professors, 215 vice professors, and almost 200 PHD and master holders. There is one provincial reputed teacher, five provincial heads in the fields or majors, 35 experts in national teaching and guiding committees of various fields, two excellent teaching teams in national petrochemical industry, and three provincial outstanding teaching teams.
