In September 2018, due to brand upgrading, the company officially launched "Laix" as the new name of group operation. The first three letters of Laix mean: Learning + AI, which drives education with artificial intelligence and leads new learning methods; while "X" represents the unknown, which means unlocking the infinite possibilities of life. At present, fluency has English education app including "fluent in English", "fluent in reading", "fluent in English for children", as well as English learning products such as "fluency in your English", "fluency in pronunciation". As of September 30, 2019, fluent users had registered 153 million 300 thousand users, covering 175 countries in the world, 384 city in the whole country, and also had the leading App and active language learning community in the country. They were once rated "App Store essence" and "2013 fine selection App" by Apple Corp.
