Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE – 8+ years of experience as a software engineer; demonstrated success developing a variety of software systems while taking on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment tasks. – 6+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture – 5+ years working in integrated enterprise application environments spanning across ERP and/or shop floor systems in a highly integrated environment using either XML or EDI. – A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline. – Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET, AJAX, SQL Server and Web Development – Knowledgeable on multiple design patterns. – Extensive experience with SOA – Programming in .Net C#, HTML, XML, SQL – 5+ years working in a TDD, automated test and continuous integration scrum/agile team. – Experience building clean & functional user interfaces – Experience with good security practices in application development. – Good Communicator – Able to work independently and within a team – Good documentation skills – Quality Focused PCH WORK, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & ATTITUDES People Skills PCH work environment is relationship based and staff members need to be able to work effectively within a number of differently structured teams. This position needs to be both a team and individual contributor. Strong verbal & written English communication is important, as is a driven and positive ‘can do’ attitude. The ability to think on your feet and effectively deal with stress in a supportive environment is also considered necessary. An aptitude to want to learn is important and results driven individual with a pleasant demeanor are vital attributes.
