Job Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the MicroGEM’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. • Secure and expand the business. Maintain and develop relationship with Universities, Research Institutes, governmental agencies, and industry, meanwhile develop new market opportunities. • Organize or take part in seminars, presentations, and sales negotiations for important or potential customers/partners. • Collect project information through various sales channels, and actively follow up to realize “create reference” and “success negotiation”. Partner with the field support team in developing application notes, troubleshooting guides, and workflow strategies to ensure customers success and satisfaction in adoption and use of MicroGEM’s products. • Compiling regular reports, such as: forecasts, visit reports, market and customer information, competition analysis; Secure offer and order follow up to ensure each project placing order. • Provide remote support for the Spitfire platform as needed.

Job Requirements

• Has experience with automation systems (programming and integration) or willingness to learn the skills to assist in developing high throughput methodologies for our customers. • Previous knowledge about a medical product or range, and the ability to analyze market trends, develop sales, price, and profitability strategies, recommend improvements, identify opportunities, and increase revenue. • University degree in any Life Sciences discipline or Business Management • 5+ years’ experience in business development or similar role working in life sciences or clinical diagnostics. • Experience in one or more of the following applied markets: Food, Agriculture & Environment, Biopharmaceutical R&D, Biomedical Research, Molecular Forensics, Precision Medicine • Excellent communication skills (written/oral) • Bilingual preferred
