Job Description 1.Teach lessons. 2. Ensure that safeguarding, health and safety, and all other College policies are known, understood and embedded into practice; 3. Be responsible for planning and facilitating creative and engaging learning with students, in a nurturing and safe environment; 5. Ensure that the learning environment is a place of full inclusivity, differentiating learning to support individual needs; 6. Develop an environment of inquiry, where students’ questions are valued and lead their learning journey; 7. Planning collaboratively, to build on student knowledge and expertise and emphasize connections between curriculum areas. Assess students learning and progress on an ongoing basis and use assessments to inform planning; 8. Fill in Orders and Reports in accordance with guidelines; 9.Have a keen focus on the approaches to learning taken by students, creating an engaging learning environment where they can learn independently, challenge their own thinking, think creatively and solve problems; 10. Job Requirements

Education 1. A degree and recognised teaching qualification, postgraduate Diploma/Higher degree in education is preferred 2. Evidence of relevant continual professional development 3. A minimum of 2 years classroom experience Skill and Experience 1. Willingness to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the international and CNC curriculum 2. An ability to promote each pupil’s learning through constant formative assessment within the classroom 3. Effective use of ICT in all aspects of learning and teaching 4. Understanding and commitment to safeguarding children 5. Involvement in co-curricular programmes 6. Experience of working in an international school is preferred
