Job Requirements

Education & Experience 1. Bachelor or higher degree in HIM or related field. 2. Above 3 years experience in healthcare/coding/reimbursement. 3. Experience in international/domestic medical coding (extensive knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding principles and guidelines, strong knowledge of ICD-10 classification principles and processes) and HIS system. 4. Strong knowledge of cardiology, cardiothoracic, and vascular clinical areas of coding is a plus. 5. Demonstrated business acumen, and analytic/ financial skills. 6. Strong managerial, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Take initiative and is self-motivated to succeed. Functional Competencies l Excellent written & oral English and Chinese (native or highly fluent), fluency in multiple languages is a plus. l Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. l Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. l Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, physicians, nurses and other parties if any. l Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. l Professional appearance & demeanor, pleasant & outgoing personality. l Organized and detail-oriented, and adaptability to fast pace environment. l Computer literate, especially with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. l Good team player
