This position is a full-time teaching/counselor position in international division Canadian program for grade 10. We maintain a familial atmosphere with a dedicated and highly qualified faculty. Our teachers are deeply collaborative, passionate about teaching, have strong classroom management skills, and commit to helping students reach their full potential.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties • Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment that excites and invests students. Ensure students’ interest in learning and stimulate their learning enthusiasm; • Motivate students to realize high academic and behavioral standards. • Design and implement unit and lesson plans according to the school standard in collaboration with students’ transition to Canadian High School courses; • Provide good teaching service to students such as checking homework, give feedback to students performance etc; • Update parents on time about their children progress and maintain good communication with parents; • Able to participate teaching research and other school activity. Create positive relationship with colleague； • Hold all students accountable during transitions, trips and school events. Skills and Characteristics • Strong instructional and classroom management skills. • High level of personal organization and planning. • Team player: maturity, humility, strong work ethic, follow-through, sense of humor, willingness to respond positively to feedback and a “roll-up-my-sleeves” attitude. Educational Background and Work Experience • Native speaker with no criminal record; • Bachelor’s degree and above with a GPA of at least 3.0 from a competitive college or university; TEFL/TESOL certificate or relevant work experience preferred; • Have great passionate in education, love students and good communication skills.
