Job Responsibilities

Meiyi are an educational company with a strong focus on cross-subject drama education based in Shenzhen, China. They are pioneers in drama-based kindergarten education having established The Royal Kindergarten Education Centre which they have run for the last twelve years Meiyi is launching a new center （school of art） in 2020 for under 12s and are looking for experienced teachers to join their staff. Responsibilities • Develop students' physical skills and abilities, strength, agility, coordination, and teamwork; develop students' understanding of the importance of exercise to physical and mental well-being; and motivate students to work towards, physical fitness, hygiene, and good health. • Create a physical education curriculum with developmentally appropriate physical exercises, team sports, integration of various exercises and activities. • Develop and administer Physical Education classes consistent with goals and objectives • Conduct ongoing assessment of student growth and progress in physical educational activities, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student's needs • Organize and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance • Encourage parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents. • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other administrators WELFARE AND SALARY 1）SALARY range from 16000 to 25000 RMB per month (before Tax) depending on experience, contract period. (One ~ two years ) and the specific work. 2）Working hours: maximum 40 hours per week; 5 working days per week, 3）Accommodation: Not provided but company will help finding apartment if needed. Starting Date: September 2020 (Please apply if you have a later start date available. Recruitment will be closed once the positions are full.) Contract Period: one year or more preferred.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Physical Education; Degree in Education with a specialization in early childhood or elementary education preferred • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in elementary education • Knowledge of current physical education instructional methods, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles. • Ability to organize and coordinate work. • Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents. • Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work. • An inspiring team player who continually pushes themselves and others to higher levels of achievement • Reflective, self-aware, and actively analyzes student work and data to provide a high quality education that is accessible to all students
