Studied at an American curriculum based middle and high school. Then I went on to study heritage management in the international class at University College Northern Denmark. After all this I needed to do something more hands on, so I joined the Danish Emergency Management Agency, where I was trained as a firefighter and subsequently as a rescue officer. The reason behind my wanting to go to China started after a trip there a couple of years ago. I became absolutely infatuated with everything Chinese. Ever since the trip I have been working hard to learn Chinese and to learn about its rich culture and history. Today, my Chinese is relatively conversational, possessing a level at around HSK 5. There is still a long way to go to fluency and a lot more to learn about China. Therefore, I hope that in the near future I may have opportunity to live in China for an extended period of time. If you give me a chance, I will surely not let you down.
