Graduated from Northumbria university, UK, in Graphic Designer. Been in Shanghai since 2017. Graphic designer for agencies and international companies for more than 4 years. Designed for branding, marketing, digital and print. Brands for international and local market. During my years overseas and in China, I've taught in Shanghai Business School Xuhui campus for Branding and visual communication for university students. I've also tutored young kids from ages 13-15 for A-level and O-level Cambridge in art and design. I've had experience in mentoring kids as young as 6-12 for English and arts and crafts at an art studio in Brunei.

-Accomplish design department work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees and other team members.Determine visual message and maintain it throughout all the creative materials. -Brainstorm collectively in order to get a final product and make sure that all decision-making is done with the brand always at the forefront. -Finalize the group’s imaginative collaboration while working within the constraints of deadlines, changing demands from clients, conflicting opinions of individual group members, and limited resources. -Meet department work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve operational problems; identifying work process improvements and department cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions. -Formulate art concepts and supervise team members engaged in executing design and copy to be presented by visual communication media. -Review project production factors by studying budget, background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques. -Select and secure illustrative material by formulating design concepts and conducting research. -Produces illustrative material by assigning design concept to artists and photographers; directing development of design concepts into art layouts. -Obtain client approval by presenting final layouts, story boards, and illustrations; responding to client commentary and requests.
-Taking overall responsibility for all on and offline work produced for all clients, including email templates, banners, brochures, leaflets and website mock-ups. Manage a team of junior designers to ensure all work produced meets client briefs. -Project manage all design assignments, ensuring all work is produced on time, to budget and to a high standard. Hold monthly and quarterly design review meetings with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the work produced and make improvements when needed. -Liaise with third party providers and agencies as and when needed. Ensure all design work produced to promote the agency is on-brand and meets the brand guidelines. Help to source and manage freelancers as and when required.
-Reports to Creative Director. Design packaging for in-house products such as pillows, toppers, and etc, using design to market products on social platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest and web via marketing platforms such as SendGrid and Mailchimp. -Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe's Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more. -Communicate with clients to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like. Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications. Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received. -Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
